Whether you are looking to apply for a training contract, apply for a training contract via our trainee recruitment placement scheme, or would like to attend an open evening, there are a whole host of opportunities available at Ince & Co.
In addition to opportunities at our London office we also run a training contract and a placement scheme in Hong Kong, which you can find more information about here.
From the moment you step through the door you’ll be given real responsibility for real cases. Although your work will be supervised by partners, you’ll also enjoy a high level of autonomy. You’ll need to be proactive too. At Ince we don’t have rigid departmental structures so you’re encouraged to approach partners and get involved in all aspects of our practice areas throughout your training contract. The areas themselves are broad, for example shipping law can involve anything from the financing of a vessel to advising on a collision at sea.
Running during the spring holidays, our two-week trainee recruitment placement scheme (TRPS) gives you a practical insight into our practice and a taste of life as a trainee at Ince. With us, you’re not confined to just ‘shadowing’ someone. You’re encouraged to approach different partners and ask to be involved in the team working on a particular case that you’re interested in. With the chance to do real legal work on live cases there are some wonderful opportunities to widen your experience – and it’s up to you to take them.
We attend university law fairs host open evening events at our London office every Autumn. These events are designed to give you an insight into what life would be like as a trainee here and provide an overview of the work we do and the clients we work for.
Ince & Co’s Hong Kong office offers opportunities for exceptional talents to join us as trainees or on a work placement scheme. We would like to hear from you if you are ambitious and hard-working, have an aptitude for the law, have a strong interest in the areas we practice and are confident in your abilities.
