Running during the spring holidays, our two-week trainee recruitment placement scheme (TRPS) gives you a practical insight into our practice and a taste of life as a trainee at Ince.

We welcome a maximum of five people on the TRPS at any one time so that we can give you all the attention and support you need. Sitting with a partner, and with an experienced trainee assigned as your ‘mentor’, you’ll work on real cases – which may involve attending court and hearings, meeting clients, drafting correspondence and doing legal research.

With us, you’re not confined to just ‘shadowing’ someone. You’re encouraged to approach different partners and ask to be involved in the team working on a particular case that you’re interested in. With the chance to do real legal work on live cases there are some wonderful opportunities to widen your experience – and it’s up to you to take them.

As part of the scheme we’ll arrange for you to see work in practice, with a tour of the Royal Courts of Justice and the Lloyd’s building. You’re also welcome to attend any of the many in-house lectures and training sessions that may be taking place over the fortnight. And, on top of all this valuable experience, you’ll also receive a payment of £350 per week.

We will be accepting applications for our 2018 Trainee Recruitment Placement Scheme between 1 December 2017 and 31 January 2018.
